In a rematch of the close encounter just a month prior, Derbyshire Community FC took on Sands United - Derby at Mickelover Sports' Don Amott Arena.

Sands won 2-1 when the two sides last met and maintained that confidence going into the match, steam-rolling into an early lead. Kyle Ali opened the scoring with just six minutes on the clock by being the first to react to a parry from Community goalkeeper, Kris Marina.

It took only ten more minutes before Sands doubled their advantage. Community were enjoying a strong spell of possession when a long ball from the Sands goalkeeper beat Community's defenders and left Callum Stewart one-on-one with keeper, calmly chipping the ball into the goal. Despite being down by two Community continued to push for a way back into the game, Oli Townsend felt he'd been brought down inside the area but the referee waved away the claims for a penalty.

Things then got from bad to worse for Community, a poor placed clearance only found Sands United players, a pass that split the community defence found Stewart for his second of the game. 3-0. The hat-trick was rounded off just before half-time. Stewart received the ball on the right hand side and showcased exceptional footwork to beat multiple Community defenders before placing the ball into the bottom corner of the goal.

An array of changes were made at half-time by Community manager Tom Kemp who switched formations to 5-3-2 in attempt to address the slump defensively. Substitutes combined 3 minutes after the restart, Harrison Taylor's cross found Tyler Farnsworth inside the 18-yard box where he dragged the ball inside before firing home to give Community hope, but the second-half defence were finally broken when Stewart broke free down the left before cutting in, Dan Townsend's save only pushing the ball into the path of Jamie Ringsell who scored from 3 yards out to stop the opposition momentum shortly after the water-break.

With Community pushing players forward, a counter attack from Sands in added time sealed the result as Stewart found himself in space and placed his shot between the keepers legs for his fourth of the game. Despite a strong second half showing, it wasn't to be for Community as Sands complete the double.
